    Distro-y Records Update

Dont do to much updates but here is one:

    New Release:
    BACCHUS – S/T – LP

    (in coop. w/Contraszt! (Germany) – 520 copies – June 2011)
Housed in a gorgeously hefty production, the long-awaited debut LP from Ireland’s Bacchus is a tense and hulking assault of millenium-era crust. With Elements of From Ashes Rise and Kylesa forming a raging, spiralling monument of caustic desperation, this is never reductive. Refusing to take the easy option and revelling in a staunchy progressive approach to hardcore, this is like Neurosis raised on amphetamine and tempered with weed: excellent. Mastered by JJ Golden, amazing artwork by Glyn Scrawled...the LP comes on heavy 180g Vinyl in a thick cardboard cover and a download code.

Distro-y Records now has a new website with new webstore, still have to add mp3's, news, section but webstore is there so dont be afraid to visit:

Recent additions and restocks to distro

    Warning/Warning - MY WORLD 7" (Japan Import)

Total Japanese noisecore worship, in the vein of bands like Tranquilizer, Confuse, Coward etc. Classic "broken english" styled lyrics and killer wah-pedal effects too. Most of yous probably seen them last year!!!
    Price € 4.50

State Poison - 12" LP (Japanese Import)

Savage debut LP by STATE POISON from France. Great follow up to their killer 7". Nasty hardcore with delayed out vocals to make you feel like you are hiding in an underground bunker. Fans of CONFUSE, SWANKYS, GAI or DUST NOISE take note!
    Price € 10

TEARGAS - WAY OF ALL FLESH LP

Australian hardcore inspired by Japanese bands like Deathside, Nightmare and Judgement. Bombastic and powerful with crushing riffs, searing vocals, thunderous drums, pummeling bass and blazing guitar. This band sealed the deal at Chaos in Tejas and on their recent US tour.
    Price € 9

    KROMOSOM - 8 TRACKS 12"

Rampaging hardcore noize from these Australian fanatics. This band takes the Disorder/Confuse style of hardcore and cranks up the distortion in the style made famous by bands like Gloom and Disclose. Has the same hard charging power and wall of raw noise of bands like D Clone, Perdition and Nerveskade but with a solid and powerful hardcore punk backbone that recalls the masters of Scandinavian hardcore from years past. Some bands attempting this style start to fall apart and just sound like a barrage of senseless noise. Kromosom holds it down with solid and punishing songs directing, yes, channeling the energy of the noise and distortion in crushing riffs instead of pure white noise.
    Price € 9

REPRESSED on 180 gram Vinyl and with a blue cover!!!! After their Demo and their Split LP with Finisterre, this is the third release by this outstanding band from Münster / Germany. These four young people have played countless shows in europe the last two years and should be well known for all those into contemporary melodic HC/Crust. Definetly one of the best bands in this genre coming from germany at the moment. I expeceted a lot from their new recordings, but what they deliver here exceeded all expectations. An almost fourty minutes thunderstorm in 11 acts, paired with a voice of dispair and accompanied by blistering melodies.
    Price € 9

The band that stands before you known as Morne started with many trials and tribulations. It began back in 2005, and even though there were many interested individuals, only one lineup had the dedication and perseverance to make the band a reality. The band features Milosz (ex-FILTH OF MANKIND) on guitar, Jeff (ex-DISRUPT, GRIEF) also on guitar, Max on bass and Kevin on drums (both from various Boston bands). Morne draws it's influence from powerful, intense bands such as AMEBIX, NEUROSIS and SACRILEGE. The undertones of these bands can certainly be heard in Morne's sound, but they create an atmosphere all their own. WARPRAYER features members of ripcord, dumstuck, gurkha... and its crust as fuck..
    Price € 9

Finally a new record from this awesome band from Cleveland! Close your eyes and imagine that His Hero is Gone and Amebix got together and had a child… got it? Ok, now imagine that that child grows up in a dank room full of teenage angst, listening to nothing but Death Side and Disfear records until he is 21 years-old. Now open your eyes and what you have is Masakari, a crust punk band from Cleveland, Ohio.
    Price € 9

Aus Rotten was one of the best punk bands or the 90's for two reasons. 1. They play excellent hardcore punk in the tradition of Discharge, the Varukers and Chaos UK 2. They make the connection between punk and radical politics in a clear and understandable way.
    Price € 3

Link - Chapter 2 Düster LP

New 2011 LP from this great Belgian dark hardcore band. Think Tragedy, From Ashes Rise , Bacchus but darker! This time only male vocals! Ltd #/300 on white vinyl, gatefold cover
    Price € 9

    Drainland / Trenches split LP

Drainland offer 4 songs of noise drenched hardcore. Slow, fast, heavy and powerful. For fans of Unruh, Noothgrush and Dystopia. Trenches on the other side come with their first output on vinyl. One song that lasts for about 14 minutes. I guess they could be best compared to a mixture between Ire and Isis (Celestial period). Riffing, groove, dark and just simply great.
    Price € 8

Superb new band from members of Geriatric Unit and Army Of Flying Robots on Andy of AOFR's new label. The fact that Andy's on it is essentially a solid gold badge of quality as far as I'm concerned and should need no description but if you don't believe me this is powerful and brutal hardcore/d-beat that gives more than a nod to the Anti Cimex school of anarcho punk. GREAT stuff. Comes in a class Crass Records-style sleeve.
    Price € 9

crushing hardcore from the rusty city of Pittsburgh. This piece of wax is perfect for bedroom mosh or just for sitting around headbanging. Awesome silk screened packaging and hand assembled inserts. members of Masakari. rad shit.
    Price € 4

Shades of Grey from Sweden play an impressive style of hard hitting melodic Crustcore with slow bleak doomy sounding strums of guitar that slowly line you up before knocking you down with a wall of sound. Shades of Grey are quite possibly Sweden's answer to From Ashes Rise or Tragedy. Fans of Alphinist and Planks need to check this band out. Kick ass band and kick ass record!!!

    New release out on Distro-y:
    Crutches - D-Beat Tsunami 7" EP

From the ashes of Project Hopeless comes Crutches and even though I know this is a new band I must say this is exactly they direction I had hopes for Project Hopeless to towards the end of that band. Hard, raw and pummeling political d-beat hardcore/crustcore. It's not very fast, but not at all slow - just hammering! Comes with a big poster (See below, cover on picture below is part of limited edition metal engraved cover).
    Price €3.50

    New in distro
    Glasses - s/t LP

What do you expect from a band consisting of people who bring in their experience from bands like 244 GL, Trainwreck, Perth Express and The F.A.? Damn right - a monster of dark and brutal rocking hardcore punk, razorsharp breaks, hyperprecise drumming and an angry female singer that you would not want to get an argument with. This is going to be the new supergroup of German hardcore - don't miss your chance to be there in the beginning!
vendetta is really proud to release this piece of musical rage ! it's 21 minutes of pure aggression on a one sided 12" with an etched b-side, coming in a very nice foldout - diecut cover, created by the bands singer sam( thank you ! )
    Price €9.00

Battle of Wolf 359/June Paik split 7"

Battle of Wolf 359 from London offering some blistering and heavy as fuck tracks unlike the One Eyed God Prophecy , Acrid or Uranus. with their unique female / male double vocals /// June Paik combines dark, emoviolent parts with admirable long instrumental parts, peppered with lyrical vocals.
    Price: €3.50
    Listen: http://junepaik.bandcamp.com/

    DAZD S/T LP

“Killer apocalyptic hardcore from Serbia! This band is pretty wild; they bring together weird occult themes and imagery, their album art full of esoteric sigils, woodcut artwork, and surreal paintings from Jason Barnett, the lyrics exploring themes of anarchism, paganism, and earth magick, while the music is a mix of grim post-punk dirges a la Amebix/Killing Joke, psychedelia, and violent hardcore rituals, and also list Japanese maniacs GISM and cult Swiss metallers Hellhammer as influences. At first, Dazd start things off with a wasted doomed crawl, the opening track all stomping old school doom metal in the vein of Pentagram and Sabbath, heavy bluesy riffing creeping over reverb-drenched drums while screams echo in the distance; but the second track sets the tone for the rest of the album, beginning as a gloomy instrumental hardcore dirge, heavy winding bass and skronky, Ginn-esque guitar matched with droning riffs and spacey synthesizers, eventually starting to sound like a faster, more feral version of Amebix. From there, the album travels through fast hardcore punk fronted by snarling slobbering screams and delirious chanting, stretches of electronic noise and droning synths and Hawkwindian space fx, pounding metallic sludge, galloping old school metal, d-beat driven thrash, finally arriving at the wailing tribal punk dirge of “Duboko Duboko” where the band digs into another Killing Joke-esque jam with Hammond organs and emotional weeping vocals. Strange and unpredictable occult hardcore bound in amazing surreal imagery - Dazd are highly recommended for fans of brutal left-field HC.”
    Price €10.00

    Protestant - Judgements 12"LP

9 songs of fast, bitter midwestern hardcore punk clocking in under 26 minutes. After a slew of releases over the last 4+ years, this is Protestant throwing down the gauntlet and cutting the shit. Four color reverse board covers, and a 12x18 poster/lyric sheet.
    Price €10.00
